The construction of the Reduced Wall Steel conduit is a galvanised steel, continuous interlocked, conduit. Due to its round form, the compression and impact resistance is very high. The RWS complies to the heavy UL-1 standard and is suitable for applications where besides flexibility a high mechanical resistance is demanded. The RWS is frequently used in heavier applications in the machine and apparatusbuilding and in elevators, escalators, wheelchair lifts, enclosed motor leads, where an UL-1 listed approval is required.
