Type HTUA is a robust conduitA conduit is a gateway in which electrical wires or other items can pass through. Leggi with a galvanised steelGalvanised steel is a zinc coated metal that provides customers with better resistance to corrosive environments. Leggi core and a thick, smooth PVC cover. An integral grounding copper wire (till 1.1/4”) provides a high level of EMI / EMP shielding for cables that require a high degree of electromagnetic protection. Type HTUA is UL approved , but also CSA HEAVY DUTY approved, making HTUA suitable for use in hazardous locations per NEC and CEC. Used to protect cables on transformers, generators, motors, actuators, valves, machinery, equipment, enclosures and installations exported to countries outside, but also inside Europe.

Suitable for use in hazardous environments according to NEC: - Article 501.10 (B) (2) Class I, Division 2 - Article 502.10 (A) (2) and (B) (2) Class II, Division 1 and 2. - Article 503.10 (A) (3) and (B) Class III, Division 1 and 2. CSA approved HEAVY DUTY, suitable for use in hazardous environment according to CEC section 18: Zone 2 per 18-152 1(h), Zone 21 per 18-202 4(a), Zone 22, per 18-252 1(h).
