The use of high-pressure water mist or water fog is very efficient when it comes to fire protection. For this, our Anaconda corrugated stainless steel hoses are very suitable, for instance the BW856. By using high pressure water mist you reduce the amount of water, thus reducing the possible water damage. This also reduces the impact on electrical appliances, such as computers or printers. Plus, the water mist has a much bigger area of effect in volume compared to normal water.
Our products for your needs
A partner of ours, Warmtebouw, needed a customized, stainless steel high pressure hose that could withstand a working pressure of 100 bar and a test pressure of 150 bar. It was during the preparations that it was discovered that a different kind of pump was used, which increased the working pressure to a 130 bar. Our in-house engineers went to work and came up with a heavy braid hose, with a test pressure of 225 bar, that was still flexible and easily manageable. This was very important since there were around 400 specific connection points. Even more important was that due to the technical modification, the delivery time was still met. Plus, the modification even reduced the total production costs.
