RNA cable hose fitting
The RNA cable hose fitting consists of 7 parts: counter nut, clamping ring, ferrule, intermediate housing, pressure ring, sealing ring and body. This video provides a 360 view on how to connect the fitting to the conduit and also how to mount the fitting to an ATEX junction box.
The RNA IECEx-ATEX approved type cable hose fittings are designed for use with our Anaconda conduits to connect and protect a single unarmoured cable (single core or multicore) in a potentially explosive atmosphere.
Typical ATEX applications include mechanical protection of motors, transformers, control equipment, different enclosures, terminal boxes, components etc., in the chemical and petrochemical, Oil & Gas, bulk handling, wood processing and food and pharma industries.

To prevent damage in harsh marine environments Anaconda ATEX-IECEx Cable Hose Fittings were used to connect cables from the compressor, ventilator and sensors to the control cabinet of the outdoor air conditioner unit. Resulting in ‚ex-e‘, protection method increased safety. These vital connections can now withstand pulling force, are impact proof and the joints are tightly sealed.“
