Types BNA-316 IECEx-ATEX approved stainless steel type barrier cable-hose fittings are designed for use with Anaconda Sealtite liquid tight conduits to connect and protect a single non-braided cable in a potentially explosive atmosphere. The use of stainless steel AISI-316 material ensures good resistance to corrosive environments. A special designed connection set enables the fitting to be used also with the AnacondaAnaconda is the brand name of our flexible conduits and matching Anaconda fittings. The Anaconda conduits are available in a wide variety of materials, diameters and can be with or without cover. More Multiflex range of uncovered conduits. Typical applications include motors, transformers, control equipment, Ex enclosures, terminal boxes, components etc., in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, bulk handling, wood processing and food and pharma industries. Also available in a version for braided cable type BAA-316 (see pages 7 – 32 till 7 – 33). In case a 45° or 90° solution is needed it is possible to use the IECEx-ATEX Anaconda adapter type BNC-316 / BAC-316 in combination with a normal 45° or 90° Anaconda stainless steel AISI-316 fitting.
