RAIL LIVE! SPAIN
We enjoyed meeting many of you at Rail Live!, where we welcomed visitors at our Booth. Together we explored how specialised cable protection can support safer, more reliable railway and infrastructure systems, from rolling stock to trackside installations.
Rail safety with specialised cable protection solutions
Rail Live! brought together infrastructure managers, operators, engineers and suppliers to discuss everything that is exciting and innovative in the rail sector. On our booth we focused on one essential aspect of safe, modern rail systems: protecting critical cables and wires against fire, mechanical impact and environmental influences.
Anamet Europe presented its complete range of liquid-tight flexible metal conduits and matching fittings, designed for use in interior and exterior rail applications. We showed how these systems support safe cable routing in trains, trams and metros, as well as in tunnels, stations and along the track.
Certified for EN 45545 fire safety demands
Designed for compliance and confidence
In the rail and rail infrastructure industry, safety on every level is non-negotiable. As your trusted partner we were proud to showcase solutions that meet the latest European fire protection requirements for the railway sector. Our product range on display included:
-
Liquid-tight flexible metal conduits and fittings meeting HL1, HL2 and HL3 classifications according to EN 45545-2 for interior and exterior applications (R22 and R23)
-
Cable-hose fittings and cable glands achieving fire-barrier classification E30 according to EN 45545-3 for both wall and ceiling installations
These classifications help support safe evacuation times and system integrity during a fire, contributing to higher passenger and staff safety. By combining flexible metal conduits with appropriately rated fittings and glands, rail OEMs and infrastructure owners can design cable systems that are both practical and compliant.
Key benefits of our showcased portfolio included:
-
Fire performance: components designed and tested to EN 45545-2 HL1, HL2, HL3 and EN 45545-3 E30 requirements
-
Mechanical protection: robust metal construction to guard against vibration, impact and abrasion in demanding rail environments
-
Liquid-tight performance: flexible conduits and fittings designed to keep water, dirt and contaminants away from critical cables
-
Installation flexibility: solutions suitable for both vehicle interior and exterior use, as well as wall and ceiling penetrations in infrastructure projects
See our technology in action
Throughout the exhibition, visitors could see, feel and evaluate our different conduitA conduit is a gateway in which electrical wires or other items can pass through. Leggi and fitting combinations. We showed how cable protection systems can be configured for use in underfloor spaces, roof ducts, equipment rooms and trackside cabinets. Our experts spent a great deal of time discussing real-world projects, from new rolling stock designs to refurbishment of existing infrastructure, and helped visitors identify suitable product combinations for their specific requirements.
