Cookies

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

How do we use cookies?

Tracking and profiling
ANAMET EUROPE B.V. also uses so-called ‘tracking cookies’ to create a profile of you using the Google Analytics tool. ANAMET EUROPE B.V. can also request this tracking cookie when you visit another website in the ANAMET EUROPE B.V. network. This allows ANAMET EUROPE B.V. to learn that you have been on these other websites in addition to our Website.

Google Analytics
A cookie is placed via the Website by the company Google, as part of the Google Analytics service. ANAMET EUROPE B.V. uses this service to track and obtain reports on how visitors use the Website. Google can provide this data to third parties if Google is legally obligated to do so, or to the extent third parties process data on behalf of Google. ANAMET EUROPE B.V. has no influence on this process. ANAMET EUROPE B.V. has ensured that the IP addresses are anonymised so that no IP addresses are sent to Google.

The data is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Safe Harbor principles and is affiliated with the Safe Harbor programme of the US Department of Commerce.

How to control cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
